Rehab Medical, a leader in complex rehab technology (CRT), announced the opening of its first customized mobility equipment location in Louisiana with the launch of its Baton Rouge office this week. Claire Murphy, a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) who has worked in the Gulf Coast area for Rehab Medical over the previous five years has recently been promoted and will lead the charge in delivering specialized mobility equipment to all those facing complex mobility challenges. Murphy is joined by a full office staff of eight employees to help improve the lives of those facing mobility challenges in the Pelican State.
“Rehab Medical is excited to expand into a new state,” said Rehab Medical President Kevin Gearheart. “This allows us the opportunity to bring our mission of improving lives to more people in need of our services. Promoting a key employee into a leadership role ensures that we will hit the ground running.”
Louisiana is one of three territory expansions the company has planned for this quarter. The company expanded into Cleveland, Ohio at the beginning of April and will be finalizing a new Georgia location later this month.
For more than a decade, Rehab Medical has provided custom mobility solutions designed for customers to regain their mobility freedom and independence. The company advocates on behalf of its customers to help them obtain equipment through their insurance provider such as Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies. Their goal is to improve the lives of its customers by helping them navigate the complex process of obtaining specialized mobility equipment through their insurance.
