Rehab Medical and its affiliate of companies are taking employee development to the next level in 2020 with the launch of its “Your Better Self” initiative. The companies are investing $250,000 into this new program, which will focus on three components: Mind, Health, and Soul.
“The company is only as great as its employees,” said Chief Executive Officer Patrick McGinley. “This investment reinforces our commitment to our employees’ development by helping to improve their mind, soul and spirit.”
The mind element is designed to continue the development of employee skills through various training programs held both internally and externally. Featured in those trainings is the L.E.A.D. program, which stands for Leadership Exploration and Development. The program is divided into two tracks, one for emerging leaders that consists of managers across the organization and one for Becoming a Conscious Leader.
The health component was created to provide employees with a wellness program that helps them find ways to improve their health through better eating, sleeping and exercise habits. This program will pair employees with a wellness coach who will help develop personalized plans for each participating employee, as well as host various wellness classes that focus on nutrition and wellbeing, through the year.
“Embedding a program that focuses on health and well-being at the heart of our business strategy is a priority,” said Director of Human Resources Alisshia Isaacs.

The third and final component is built around soul, which is the commitment to investing in company culture and creating a positive work environment through team building initiatives.
“With a clear focus of improving our patients’ and customers’ lives, it is important to also invest in ourselves,” said McGinley. “Your Better Self program is designed to allow our employees to accomplish precisely this.”
