Leaders in complex rehab technology open a new market in Nashville
Rehab Medical, Inc., a national complex rehab technology (CRT) company, moves into Nashville, Tenn., opening themselves up to a brand-new home medical equipment market and additional mobility users to serve. This is the first time the company has moved into a new market without a pre-established presence or acquisition of an existing mobility company.
“Our vision is to be the national leader of complex rehab technology and to do that, we must increase the number of states where we have a presence,” said President Kevin Gearheart.
“Tennessee is a logical location for us because it connects two regions of the country where we have a very strong footprint: the Midwest and the Southeast.”
The decision to move into a new market without prior foundations brought on no hesitations due to the company’s rapid growth witnessed in 2020. Currently staffing three mobility experts, increasing momentum of mobility related needs identified the urgency to expand their mobility experts’ team by the end of June 2021.
“Moving into the Nashville market without having an existing foundation is a testament to the solid sales structure we’ve put in place, our dedicated sales team who consistently go above and beyond, as well as the resolute confidence received from our leadership team that we can overcome the obstacles set in our path.” said Vice President of Sales Keith Hawkins Jr.
Moving into Tennessee is the first of Rehab Medical’s growth trend set for 2021. Plans to expand into additional markets are underway and will be announced in the coming months. Recent growth trends that propelled the company’s 2020 success can be attributed to acquiring Wheelchairs Plus of San Antonio, Texas, Mobility Specialists of Winter Haven, Fla., and office expansions in Ohio, and Indiana. Rehab Medical now has a total of 25 locations nationwide dedicated to serving the patient’s unique mobility needs.
