The Indiana Chamber of Commerce announced today that Rehab Medical has once again been named one of Indiana’s Best Places to Work within its Large Company (250-999 U.S. employees) category. It marks the second-consecutive year the company has received the honor.
“What a great accomplishment for our leadership team and our amazing employees,” said Rehab Medical Director of Human Resources Alisshia Isaacs. “This award not only showcases who we are as a company, but also who makes our company so abundantly successful.”
On February 19 the chamber released the list of companies that made the initial round, where only 23 companies in the large category advanced. The final company rankings will be unveiled April 30 at an awards dinner at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College.
“No matter where a company finishes, this program provides vital information that will only enhance organizations going forward,” said Indiana Chamber of Commerce President Kevin Brinegar. “We are encouraged that year after year companies return to the competition for this benefit, plus we see a number of new faces take advantage of this rather unique opportunity."
Of the 125 companies on the list, 38 are first-time honorees or have returned to the list following at least a year’s absence.
Top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive, confidential employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 25 other states.
Brinegar says the chamber continues, “to be impressed with the quality of employers, their strong workplace cultures and best practices they have in place that both strengthen the company and the employer-employee relationship.”
